Day 1
Arrival in Nairobi and pick and transfer to Boulevard or
Ngong House for dinner and overnight on all meals.
Day 2
Depart Nairobi around 0800, for drive on Mombasa road to
Kibwezi. Here we will leave the
tarmac,
and take an all weather road for about 30 kilometers where
we walk to nearby caves. First, we take lunch of salads,
bread and cheese, cold beer or soft drink, then walk to the
entrance of the caves where we explore sections of one of
the longest "Lava Tube" caves in the world - Leviathan.
These caves are worldwide and are rare. Get to see some of
the most fascinating formations found there - Sink holes,
lava ropes, stalagmites and stalactites, benches and of
course the secondary, water formed features.
Dinner and overnight at campsite.
Day 3
After breakfast early morning, depart by road to the top of
Chyulu Hills. Superb walking country with gently undulating
grasslands, interspersed with dense patches of forest.
Possibility of viewing herds of eland and other antelope,
giraffe, zebra and wildebeest with slightly lesser chance to
see elephant, lion and buffalo and the other game that live
in the area. Views of Kilimanjaro just 50 km away will be
evident.
Overnight camping somewhere along the crest with
dinner.
Day 4
Breakfast and spent the day trekking. Dinner and
overnight at campsite.
Day 5
An early morning game drive or short walk before late
breakfast or early lunch. Leave along the crest road and
down the western side of the hills for the drive back to
Nairobi arriving late afternoon in time for your next
destination.
We can be flexible on the itinerary while on safari. One
may, for instance, wish to spend an extra day caving (or cut
out a day), thus spend less time (or longer) walking the
Chyulu Hills.

sharing, joining others. Minimum four people.
Cost includes:
- Park entrance fees
- Transport (may join others)
- Accommodation in spacious tents.
