Day 1/2: Larsen’s / SamburuTransfer
to Wilson airport for your scheduled flight to the
countries north. You will pass over lush farmlands and
catch glimpses of the glaciered slopes of Mt. Kenya
before dropping down to the arid country of the North
and the Samburu Game Reserve.

On arrival you will be met and transferred to
Larsen’s Camp/Samburu Lodge or similar – 2 nights stay
on a fully inclusive basis. All meals and a 4game drives
are include. Larsen’s is a small and a very atmospheric
tented Camp.
Samburu is located north of the central mountains and
the equator. This fascinating arid reserve is home to
Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe, as well as Oryx,
gerenuk, Somali Ostrich and dik dik. You will have an
excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, and
elephant. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas
palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River, the life source
for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic.

Day 3: Mt. Kenya Safari Club
Transfer to Samburu for the scenic flight. On arrival
you will be met and transferred to the Mount Kenya
Safari Club for your one night stay. All meals are
included.The club offers sweeping views across the
plains to the majestic slops of the magnificent snow and
glacier-capped Mt. Kenya – Africa’s second highest peak
after Kilimanjaro.
Originally the retreat of movie star and club founder
William Holden, the club provides a unique blend of
comfort, relaxation and adventure. Set in over 100
landscaped gardens the mood is one of quiet elegance.
The lavishly appointed dining rooms provide wonderful
meals. A fine Golf course and a heated swimming pool are
on site whilst other activities include: fishing, half –
day trips to Mt. Kenya, nature walks Chuka drummer
displays, animal orphanage visits, and breakfast by the
river.
There are many things to do around Mt. Kenya,
including hiking in the foothills where waterfalls and
wonderful views abound. Horse riding and white water
rafting can be arranged.

Day 4 & 5: Governors Camp / Maasai Mara
This morning you will be transferred to the airport
for your scheduled flight from Nanyuki to the Maasai
Mara. On arrival at the Mara’s Musiara airstrip you will
be met and transferred to Little Governor’s Camp for 2
nights day. All meals and activities are included.
The Maasai Mara is a unique area adjoining the great
Serengeti plains, which form part of the Serengeti
plains National Park a 9,200 Square mile Wilderness of
semi-arid grassland and woodland in Tanzania’s
northwestern quarter. Home of the greatest numbers of
wildlife on earth. The Serengeti’s pulse beats to the
migration cycle as vast herds of wildbeest and zebra
surge up the plains in search of their hooves and the
snarl of the predators that follow them-truly one of the
last great natural wonders of the world.
Governor’s Camp is situated on the banks of the Mara
River in the west of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and
set new standards as a luxury tended camp, set amongst
the trees of the Mara River, with unrivalled view across
the plains.

Day 6: Governor’s Nairobi
Governors will transfer you to Musiara airport, for
the flight to Nairobi.
We have the option of staying at the Mara Serena Lodge
in the Maasai Mara.
