Arrive in the morning at Jomo Kenyatta Airport, where you will be received by your tour driver cum guide, and a tour rep to brief you on your safari, over a round of refreshing welcome drinks, after which you begin your safari by taking a scenic drive to the world famous Masai Mara. Stop enroute at the edge of the Rift Valley escarpment to see the stunning views and to visit a small church that was built by Italian prisoners of war during the 1940's, not usually expected in Africa! You will also see the Maasai people on the way, who live unaffected by modern civilization. You may stop along the way at small trading centers"dukas" in Swahili, and enjoy speaking to the locals, some of whom might know some English. Check in at your safari lodge and enjoy a sumptuous buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will be taken for a gamedrive in the park.

Day 2
Today you will explore the great Masai Mara. After an early breakfast, set off for your gamedrive. You may stop and walk at special sites such as the Mara river where you can see hippo and crocodiles. Return to the lodge where you can enjoy a refreshing swim before your buffet lunch. Later in the afternoon, leave for another gamedrive to explore another part of the reserve. Expert gametracking skills of your tour guide cum driver. Enjoy a buffet dinner at the lodge. Evening entertainment sometimes includes traditional dances and culture talks. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/ Sopa lodge/ Nyumbu tented camp. [ Option of a packed picnic lunch, so that you can be out in the reserve all day, returning to the lodge in the evening- no extra cost.]

Day 3
Depart after breakfast for the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird and rhino sanctuary, and home to a variety of wildlife. This lake is famous for its pink flamingoes and is a World Heritage Site. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. A late afternoon gamedrive will allow you to see the many wild animals in the park. You will also be taken to a cliff view point overlooking the lake. [see the picture of the lake on our home page of the website]

Day 4
Breakfast and spend your day in Lake Nakuru on game drives and lunches. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge/ Waterbuck hotel/ Merica hotel.

Day 5
Enjoy your breakfast before leaving for Mountain Lodge, situated at the base of Mount Kenya. This is a Tree lodge for which the Mount Kenya region is famous, and is uniquely Kenyan concept. The lodge has specially constructed viewing bunkers from where you can spot game any time of the day. Arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon can be spent viewing the game from a spacious verandah overlooking the waterhole or by going for a forest walk for sighting of game and bird life (optional). Night game viewing here is a joy-if you are lucky, you could see an elephant coming to feed near the lodge, only metres from you.

Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge/ Treetops lodge.

Day 6
After an early breakfast, you will leave for a scenic drive to Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi by lunchtime. Complimentary lunch from a Restaurant. After, leave by public shuttle transfer to Arusha town via Namanga border town where you get your Tanzania visa. Arrive late evening and check in at Impala hotel on dinner and overnight.

Day 7
After breakfast, depart for Serengeti Game Reserve. Arrive at the lodge by lunchtime. Lunch and afternoon game drive follows. Visit the Olduvai gorge. This park is essentially similar to Masai Mara, as they both form one eco system.

Day 8
Full day at Serengeti Game Reserve. Afternoon gamedrive after lunch when you can explore this big game reserve.

Day 9
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Crater, home to hundreds and thousands of plain animals. Arrive at the lodge by lunchtime. Afternoon gamedrive in the spectacularly formed crater in a 4 wheel drive vehicle follows after lunch.

Day 10
After an early breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, set at the foot of magnificent Mount Kilimanjaro. See the amazing wildlife, especially the elephants during the game drive.

Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge/ Sopa lodge/ Kibo tented camp.

Day 11
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi with game drives enroute. Stop along the way at scenic spots or places of interest. Arrive Nairobi by lunchtime
from a restaurant. After, transfer to the airport for flight home.

End of tour.
