Leading Expeditions safaris Kenya is an indigenous
destination management company with operations base in
Nairobi and run by indigenous Kenyans.
Leading Expeditions is a fully registered tour operator
company in Nairobi, working professionally with personalized
services, hospitality and guaranteed departures for our
clients. We have been known and proven to give best
incentive group tours. We give service excellence,
meticulous attention to detail and not withstanding
uncompromised safety standards with security matters
paramount.
Our reservations are guarantee and bookings done to most
secure facilities in East Africa for your well-being and
convenience. Our normal transportation means is 8 seats
safari minibuses and use of 4 wheel drive land cruisers for
all weather travel. Our itineraries have been proved to be
exhaustive, but we welcome any suggestions, ideas and
opinions from you.
We are a member of KATO (Kenya Association of tour operators), ESOK (ecotourism society of Kenya-for
responsible travel practices). We highly encourage our
clients to practice responsible travel on safari.

rental, family trips, flying safaris and accommodation in
selected, approved, secure and top of the range outlets.
Leading Expeditions takes pride in its team of experienced
driver guides, all of whom are African locals. Our vehicles
are designed for maximum comfort and safety whilst
navigating big distances. Quality equipment is also provided
on all camping trips.

needs of our clients. We often have operators wishing to use
our services and "over brand" the tour / safari as their

 Mr. Japhet Mutiya is the sitting Director. Antony Githendu is
the PR & tours manager. Lillian Ndirangu is the customer services
representative and the Operations Director is
Jeff Muthengi, who since the 1980's had a burning desire to
venture into destination management, having had identified
the enormous potential East Africa had to offer to the
discerning traveler ( the unbelievable sunny weather
-sunshine all year round, the splendid game parks and
reserves, the best beaches in Africa, the wonderful cultures
and traditions of the people, the incredible variety of
wildlife, and the unmatchable flora and fauna and of course
the healthy political climate as well as the wonderful
tranquility -(one of the best in the region).
