9 DAYS SAFARI NAKURU/ MENENGAI/ BOGORIA/ MARA
Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi – Masai Ostrich farm
Arrival, are picked up from the airport by our representative and driven to Masai Ostrich farm on the outskirts of Nairobi- just the perfect excursion on this day. Depart for Kitengela Ostrich farm by road in time for lunch. Have sumptuous assortment of Ostrich meat and vegetables after which you will have the opportunity to have Ostrich rides with a guide. An excursion in the Ostrich farm will climax your Ostrich tour and leave for Nairobi arriving evening in time for dinner and overnight at Parkside Hotel/ Flora guest house.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha
Breakfast, are picked by your guide and driven to Lake Naivasha in time for lunch. After lunch, take excursions in around the lake or walk in Hells gate. Lake Naivasha has a myriad of common birds of Kenya. Dinner and Overnight at Kenvash hotel/ Lake Naivasha Resort.
Day 3: Naivasha- Nakuru- Menengai
Breakfast, are picked up and driven to Nakuru in time for lunch from Waterbuck hotel. After lunch, leave for Menengai crater, a major volcanic crater in the East African Rift. Return back to Nakuru, dinner and overnight at Waterbuck/ Midlands/ Stem hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, proceed on game drives in Lake Nakuru Park. Lake Nakuru is one of the gem in the necklace of the Rift Valley Lakes often referred as the Pink Lake for its great masses of pink flamingos. Opportunity to see millions of flamingos besides thousands of other birds. Lake Nakuru is a Rhino Sanctuary and harbors other wild-game like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo, Warthog and Hippo etc. Leave the park at around 2 pm for late lunch from your hotel. Dinner and overnight at Waterbuck/ Midlands/ Stem hotel.
Day 5: Lake Baringo
Depart Nakuru for Lake Baringo to arrive at Lake Baringo which is a famous bird sanctuary. After lunch, proceed to the spectacular Lake Bogoria, which is a shallow soda lake with beautiful scenery and also home to a sizeable number of flamingoes and other species of birds. The highlight, however, is the boiling hot springs and geysers, which also contribute to the beauty of the lake Afternoon at leisure with an option of either having a dip at the swimming pool or a guided bird walk. Optional Boat trip to see the hippos and crocodiles is available on request at an extra. All meals and overnight at Lake Bogoria Hotel.
Day 6: Lake Bogoria
Breakfast and spend the morning exploring Lake Bogoria with its vast birds species. Lunch and after, leave for Nakuru arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Waterbuck hotel.
Day 7: Masai Mara
Depart after early breakfast for Masai Mara reserve, part of the Serengeti ecosystem. After lunch at the lodge, be ready to experience some of the best game viewing in Kenya's most exciting game reserve. All meals and overnight at Mara Springs Camp/ Flamingo camp.
Day 8: Mara
Breakfast and spend the day in Masai Mara with lunch at the hippo pool. Dinner and overnight at Mara Springs ensuite camp.
Day 9: Departure
Early morning game drives, breakfast and leave for Nairobi arriving in time for airport transfer for your flight home.
