8 DAYS PRIVATE SAFARI SWEET-WATERS, NAKURU, MARA, AMBOSELI AND NAIROBI

Day 1: Arrival- Nairobi
Arrival in Nairobi airport, are picked up and transferred to Kipepeo hotel/ Heron hotel for overnight. (BB)

Day 2: Sweetwaters camp
Arrival and head north to Mount Kenya Region to arrive in time for lunch.and an afternoon drive at Sweetwaters sanctuary. There are magnificent views across the plains to the snow capped peaks of Mount Kenya, lies in the heart of 90,000 acre Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

This game sanctuary is the closest reserve to Nairobi with the ‘big five’, and has the highest ratio of game-to-area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at the Sweetwaters tented camp/ Mountain lodge/ Naromoru River lodge/ Sportsman Arms hotel.

Day 3: Nakuru- Menengai
Breakfast, are picked up and driven to Nakuru via Thompson falls, in time for lunch from a hotel. After lunch, leave for Menengai crater area and visit the local communities. Take time to visit the locals around the area and interact with them. Return to Nakuru, dinner and overnight at Merica
hotel.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast leave for full day game drives in this famous park. Lake Nakuru is known as an ornithological paradise by birdwatchers because the lake is world famous as the location of the greatest bird spectacle on earth which boasts anywhere between one and two million lesser and
greater pink flamingos that feed on the abundant algae thriving in the lakes warm waters.

The park has also been established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to Columbus monkeys, Leopards, Giraffes, and a variety of plain antelope. Lunch will be served at a hotel.

Afternoon game drive around the lake-shore will be the main feature for the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Merica hotel or similar.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru- Maasai Mara
Today our safari expedition will take us to the jewel of Kenya's parks, the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve. This is Kenya's number one park and is always on every tourist's "Must see list". Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Masai Mara crown's the climax of every
safari in Kenya.

Apart from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July or August. Your driver/guide will take you for an afternoon game drive in search of the shy and elusive leopard, the solitary and ill-tempered Rhino, lions, buffalos, and many others.

As the sun starts to edge its way dip into the African horizon it will be the perfect opportunity to capture the beautiful Mara landscape on a camera. Dinner& overnight at Mara Sentrim camp/ Nyumbu camp.

Day 6: Mara
Spend the day on packed meals and game drives. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sentrim
camp.

Day 7: Mara- Amboseli
Breakfast, are picked up and driven to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive. Evening game drives will reveal swamps and springs fed by underground rivers from the melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which give permanent water to the wildlife Dinner and overnight at Kibo tented camp.

Day 8: Nairobi
Early morning game drives, breakfast then depart to Nairobi in time for complimentary airport transfer for your flight home.
